The 2024 edition of the Bromont Ultra in review

In 2024, several members of our community have chosen to surpass themselves at the Bromont Ultra to support the children of Centre de pédiatrie sociale en communauté (CPSC) Main dans la main. Every year, this event brings together trail running and mountain biking enthusiasts who decide to turn their personal challenge into a gesture of solidarity. For CPSC Main dans la main, this mobilization contributes directly to supporting our mission to help children in highly vulnerable situations in Brome-Missisquoi.

A goal surpassed to support children

For the 2024 edition of the Bromont Ultra, CPSC Main dans la main had set a fundraising target of 60 000 $ to support its services to local children and families. Thanks to the generosity of donors and the commitment of participants, this objective was surpassed, as nearly 65,000 $ were collected for the benefit of our organization.

This invaluable support enables us to continue the interventions that make a real difference in the lives of the children we accompany. At the heart of our services are medical and psychosocial follow-ups, family support, educational activities and workshops that foster development and confidence.

Teams mobilized for the mission of the CPSC

Seven teams chose to take on the Bromont Ultra relay challenge to support the children of CPSC Main dans la main :

  • For children (The Jean Coutu Group of Cowansville)
  • Crazy runners
  • Energie Sud
  • Forty-ish & Fabulous
  • Guiding Star
  • Les juristes (Team made up of a few members of the CPSC Board of Directors, Main dans la main)
  • The Young Riders Club (CPSC Main dans la main)

At their side, twenty-five solo riders also took part in the adventure. Whether as a team or as individuals, every kilometer covered raised donations and awareness of CPSC Main dans la main's mission in the community. This mobilization is considerable and invaluable to us year after year. In all, more than 60 runners crossed the finish line and outdid themselves in this colorful annual event.

Mobilization makes a real difference

Today, the Bromont Ultra is one of the region's most important sporting and philanthropic events. Every year, thousands of athletes and donors mobilize to support various social causes.

For CPSC Main dans la main, this mobilization raises community awareness of the reality of children and families in vulnerable situations, and serves as a reminder that solidarity can make a real difference to people's lives.

Thank you to all those who took part

We would like to sincerely thank everyone who contributed to this great success: teams, riders, donors, volunteers and partners.

Thanks to your commitment, more than 65,000 $ were invested directly in children and families in Brome-Missisquoi.

Every gesture counts. Every challenge helps give the children of our community more support, more hope and more opportunities to dream big.
