The Back-to-school party 2025 once again brought our community together in a warm, festive and caring atmosphere. Thanks to the exceptional work of our team and our dedicated volunteers, the day was a true success for the children and families supported by the Centre.
The children left with big smiles and their arms full: new shoes, lunch boxes, school bags filled with supplies, and fresh haircuts to help them start the school year on the right foot. Throughout the day, families enjoyed a lively atmosphere with entertainment, activity booths, snacks, hot dogs and corn on the cob for everyone to enjoy.
This 2025 edition also reached a record amount of more than 20,130 $ in monetary and in-kind donations, far exceeding our original goal of $12,000. This remarkable achievement includes donations of school supplies, notably thanks to the involvement of IBM Bromont, as well as the many contributions from our partners in food, snacks, personal care products and services.
We also had the privilege of welcoming several elected officials, political representatives and media representatives on site, including the Mayor of Cowansville, the Warden of Brome-Missisquoi and Mayor of Farnham, as well as representatives from our federal and provincial Members of Parliament.
